The "free Y" is torture as it is. 10 minutes of ads before a movie. Ok ok, it's "free", and I can just unplug my headphones, so I'll accept that. But I don't know when the movie is going to start, so I have to watch every freaking ad thinking "is this the last one? is this the last one?"

What I dislike more is Rogers cellphone ads right after safety announcements (!). Since when do I pay to get on a plane to watch mandatory advertisements?

It's almost as bad as US Airways, when I flew SFO-PHL-YYZ a couple years back, they played ads for US Airways Vacations for 10 minutes. Never flew US after that.

It's almost like captive audiences are there to be taken advantage of
