I thought I was fortunate to run into a 757 Pilot on occasional rides in DEN's Hotel Shuttle for a DEN-MIA leg and get some "inside" scoop...
you are providing some great insights for those of us who fly a ton and have very little clue as to the complexity of the operation which we entrust our lives and commutes/leisure trips.
Thanks for volunteering and making it more transparent for all of us... it's not as "official" as if I were to post: "I heard a pilot once say..."

BTW, have you ever overnighted in LGA at the house with the red door?
