What passport are they carrying?

A Canadian passport? or another foreign passport (IE: China, Taiwan)
AC has been very deligent in confirming visas and id's for the past few months, more so then say a couple of years ago. However there are more than enough Chinese AC checkin staff at YVR for (example)for this to be too much of a problem, if the only problem is reading Chinese.
