Thanks for the input and advice Carlodca. I will see what Qantas can do. EZE-Lima sector is a 4 digit flight and had never heard of the carrier who flies it on codeshare-that's what made me shy away from it.

What is the carrier for the EZE-LIM flight? My guess is that it has to be "LAN ARGENTINA" or "LAN PERU", which is basically LAN. Oneworld works only with LAN (Lan, Lan Peru, LAn Argentina, Lan Ecuador) and GOL (only for flights to/from Brazil) in Southamerica.
You would be flying J on a LAN 763 or 320 plane from EZE-LIM. Sounds good to me!
