well, I think that is taking it a bit too far. I would rate KLM-C really far below most other major European airlines (even AF); they even still have the old cradle seats in C! And they offer Dutch food and recently even Dutch wine! Enough said.

LH-C is not that bad, the problem is that LH is desperately trying to open a big gap between their F and C offerings and they have achieved that by upgrading their F-Class (esp. on the ground) and slowly downgrading their C-Class. On BA, the difference between C and F is not that great, I would claim. So, end-result (and I have flown both airlines on both classes quite a lot over the past five years), BA F< LH F and BA C > LH C
