Have a business class ticket from ATH to ORD via MUC for next July. The problem is that it is miles and has zeroed me out. However, I've got plenty of AA miles and can go coach to ATH to LHR and then First to ORD. So the downsides are a 4 hour flight in coach on BA and an extra $300 in taxes. The upsides are a decent chance for the new BA first class product which is pretty sweet.
However, I've never flown LH in business (well not since the late 90s) and have no idea what the product and service is like. Can any comment on the two different carriers and what they would do here?
