Thanks for the advice so far...DH, Mpclaw, MKB. Thanks I'm going to check on the ocean "front" view. I'm fairly limited in the timing of when I would need to arrive on the island (late March) and had to book more than two months ago. At the pricing it seemed a reasonable deal through Starwood. The far majority of the Western Maui properties beachside are booked so I hesitate to try to look for a condominium unless it's either superior lodging or a far better deal (aside from the obvious: kitchen, etc.). I'm open to any suggestions in West Maui.
