Just had a nightmare with Southall travel who in their wise wisdom decided to stick my parents titles in their bookings. The names did not match the FF accounts.
tickets should have been issued as Surname/Firstname as on FF card but they decided to stick in titles: surname/firstnameMR and surname/firstnameMRS which meant that PNRs did not match with FF cards.No problem in checking in but I had to chase Kingfisher to get the miles posted to their accounts.
PS this is not a Kingfisher problem as their automated systems would detect that the name on the FF account is different from the PNRs.
Same thing happenned for my spouse some weeks back but by another TA who suddenly thought of doing this..
It was in 9W, but though the miles did not post automatically, it was luckily easily done online without any follow up required..
But surprising thing was the TA adding the title with the 1st name..
