I post on TA a LOT. Giving and getting advice.

But I have only 5 reviews. And that is over decades of travel.

I also see reviews posted by those with no posts.

I am not so sure it means all that much.

Do some hotels that have happy clients ask them to post reviews? I am sure this must happen.

I always look at the TA reviews before I book. But I sort of look for the over all tenor of the reviews. Then I ask on a TA forum asking advice from those who post on the forum.

Overall I am quiet happy with TA. You do have to review with a critical eye. A 2 star Amsterdam review where someone is complaining about steep stairs or small rooms? I figure a first time clueless visitor.

Are some hotel owners unhappy with the reviews or comments? No doubt they are.

But instead of trying to remove the bad reviews they ought to worry about fixing their hotel.

Good the TA system is. Perfect it is not.
