This is a very nice property and in my view the best Sheraton in London just because it is smaller and tries to be exactly what you'd hope it would be. I am not surprised by the little extras the manager did for you and your family. It is a bit difficult to find, tucked into the side streets of Belgravia not too far from Herrods and Harvey Nichols, but that also distinguishes it from those larger hotels that are in the middle of the traffic and bustle of London. And while I would not want to disillusion you that Platinum means nothing, my experience as a humble Gold (back in the SCI days) tells me they do these little things for all their guests -- well maybe not the upgrade they gave you, but... This is a class property, and if you can afford it a good choice in London.
