Well this went well except for one FA who was either on a power trip or has special needs. Got an upgrade for me and the g/f for all flights except on 529 IAD to ORD Monday Evening. That flight I was the only one upgraded and I gave the first class seat to my friends wife and their infant.

For some reason the flight attendant in first class could not understand that we switched seats after telling her so. Mid flight she came back to talk to me. Originally I thought she was going thank me for being a 1K. This was not the case.

She told me that there was no record of an infant being on board and that I should have said something. I told her that the boarding pass for the infant was scanned as we boarded and that there was not an "extra" infant on board. She said they need to know how many infants are on board and had to tell the captain that there was an infant on board. I again repeated that we had the boarding pass and it was scanned as we boarded.

Either way when we got off the flight my friends wife revealed that the FA was rather rude to her as well.

That flight was disappointing not only because of the weird FA experience but also because the audio on the plane was having issues. I could not listen to music in either headset jack (open seat next to me), but it worked for the video. Other members in my party also had the same experience with the music.

I would confidently fly with my friends again and feel comfortable giving up my first class seats for them without issue. I think the last flight was a one off.
