An email is enough. Technically only one account per member is allowed and the dupes get analysed each month. I recently had the issue that DKB opened a new account for my wife. Questioning the responsible person at M&M USA who I happened to know how this could even be possible she highlighted the fact that it didn't come up as dupe because I got my wife's date of birth wrong when I signed her up 8 years ago
