There should be minimal additional cost associated with a mileage run transcon SFO/JFK/IAD/BOS. Ive never done a mileage run. However, with free meals, drinks, wifi, and first class seating my business flights are comfortable and I can get a lot of work done or email loved ones. Several flights ive read all my mail, reviewed my Amex statements, and purchased gifts or gift cards online. Something I wouldnt normally do if I was home with family.
