Was on the 557 from Rome today, arrived at an airbridge stand at T5B. Got to the top of the airbridge to find both the doors to departures and arrivals shut and locked, with no staff in sight.
This is a regular occurence at Newcastle domestic exiting into baggage claim. The confused looks on my fellow passengers faces when confronted by locked doors is often the highlight of the otherwise dull trip
