I've had bags delayed on pretty much every airline I've ever flown regularly. Never had bags completely lost.

I don't check for normal business trips, but that's mainly because I find it easier to get IRROPS help, manage SDCs, and take bumps with just carry-ons. For long trips or long vacations I'll check and just deal with a delay. I've had it happen but never for more than a day or so.
