I stayed at the Westin Michigan Ave in Chicago last night and made a long distance call home about 6 pm, lasting about 5 minutes.(The cost is usually about $10-12) Upon receipt of my bill this am I noticed that there was no telephone charges. I called down to the front desk, and he asked whether it was local or long distance and when I responded he replied "Oh, I see you are Gold, so there will be no charge".

Now, you and I both know that it will probably just show up on my credit card statement, but considering the usual additional charges on all calls, I thought this interesting.
