Agents say no seats on 22 Aug for the YVR to Calgary "leg" but I have checked all 15 flights that day and only 1 (one) seat shows as booked. What happens in cases like this (and I am not alone) is that confidence in the process is lost. I would have expected the agent would have been empowered to provide the tickets offered by the www rather than suggest my wife travel YVR to Calgary a day earlier and stay overnight - its a 65 miniute flight and there are 15 a day ? Apologies for the rant but it is very frustrating not to be able to purchase that which is so clearly on offer.
Is this a case of "married segments"
But the agent may be right, and it may be an AE website glitch, there are no seats via YYC on 22 Aug available on continental.com or ANA (so that means no I seats) .. There are two seats via YYZ on that evening, continued on the day flight to LHR, so why not take them?
