We all appreciate your input Andrew but surley you will understand our dismay in having a trip "offered" but effectively declined on the checkout - refer my comments at #49 above. Today 6 days after I started my many hours of research I still can not book a J seat for wife YVR to LHR 22 Aug retn 5 Sept. The www still shows the same availilability as I noted earlier. Agents say no seats on 22 Aug for the YVR to Calgary "leg" but I have checked all 15 flights that day and only 1 (one) seat shows as booked. What happens in cases like this (and I am not alone) is that confidence in the process is lost. I would have expected the agent would have been empowered to provide the tickets offered by the www rather than suggest my wife travel YVR to Calgary a day earlier and stay overnight - its a 65 miniute flight and there are 15 a day ? Apologies for the rant but it is very frustrating not to be able to purchase that which is so clearly on offer.
