The location is perfect and the rooms are a good size, especially considering how central it is. However, I’m using a couple of Q3FN vouchers for the stay and am wondering if they would be put to better use trying out the Bentley. The location isn’t as good (in my mind – happy to be corrected!) and my girlfriend rates the Doubletree as her favourite London hotel, probably for all the reasons that my credit card bill hates it – proximity to the holy grail of shopping that is Oxford Street

but it does look nice and I’m sure there are also lots of shops nearby. It would also be good to get a view of the Bentley from the perspective of a Diamond member. I’m a bit miffed that they don’t include breakfast as one of the ‘elite’ privileges, but if the rest of the experience makes up for it, it might still be worthwhile. Are the rooms a good size? Are they generous with upgrades? What are the facilities like, etc...? Thanks in advance for any comments! ^

I would suggest the Bentley. Maybe the location, compared to the centrally located Doubletree, is not the best (but when I stayed there I found it convenient and also close to the underground) but rooms are much better.
As a Diamond you can expect to be upgraded at least to a very nice junior suite (I was upgraded to an Ashburn suite but the hotel during my stay was almost empty). Breakfast is not complimentary for Diamonds but I don't remember a memorable breakfast on my last breakfast included stay, so a stop to a nearby coffe shop for breakfast in my opinion is the best option.
