can I get a refund on the unused return part of a SH flight ?

Had a quick search, and found a few threads asking about refunds on LH, but since the derestriction of SH fares [ie since econ returns are now basically 2 one-ways], can I get a refund on an unused return ?

I want to change my return flight to an earlier one, and the cost of a new single is only £15 more than the change cost, so if I can get something back as a refund it would be cheaper to buy a new ticket....

If not, guess that this is a reason to always buy one-ways around Europe.
