Anyway, I think maybe I was not sufficiently clear. I purchased a ticket which was issued by AA but operated by BA with a BA flight number. The ticket that I have is within the eligible booking class for upgrade with award miles. However, I was told by one of the agent, that since this is an AA issued ticket, I will not be able to use my BAEC miles to upgrade. I would like to know if this is true or the agent was just a "un-informed".
