Unfortunately, you can't put in a special request for a special meal. There are set catering specs as per the list of available SPML's on AC's website (18 in total I believe).

There are 4 types of Vegetarian Meals:
VGML (Veg), AVML (Asian Veg), VLML (Lacto-Ovo) & VOML (Veg Oriental)

There is also a FPML (Fruit Plate).
