But, as long as the partner redemptions stay around and are a pain in the ... to find, and I want to spend hours of my free time on ExpertFlyer and on the phone then I get free trips around the world, for low miles. Have a flight to Bangkok booked in July for 60,000 miles, sure it took me forever, worth it!
If you want it for free and easy, it's there for alot of miles, if you want it for free on low, you gotta work for it!
I hope nothing gets fixed, or else the seats on partners are going to become scarce. Keep it hard to find!
You are not alone in holding the opinion described herein, nor is such an opinion unique to DL... over on the UA forum, there have been complaints about the new and improving *A award search capability on united.com: the posters fear that easier award searching & redemption will lead to lower overall availability for those previously willing to "work" for it.
