ROTFLMAO. Hmmmm, chance would be a fine thing.

When a member (and he is not alone in this) posts on the one hand:

If anyone here is unhappy with FT ... I would suggest they contact Randy.

And then when Randy's attention IS attracted and Randy (for the 400th time) takes his valuable time and indicates he has no problem whatever with how things stand relating to doc's posting, that member still says:

Randy, Since you by admission have only read a VERY small percentage of doc's posts, I would suggest you look at some more when you have some free time.

Well Analise, lets say that nothing much has changed around here in recent years. When you read Randy's 401st post along the same lines you will see what I mean.

Like both Randy and Camera Guy have admitted, I sure as heck only read a small % of doc's posts. BUT he does make thread headings CLEAR and concise IMO. So when I do click on them, I am aware what I will be reading about. I can't think of many if any at all of doc's threads that have ever been in the wrong Forum as some seem fixated with. I will agree that many threads started in OMNI lately (but many folks - including myself!) are pretty silly, but THAT is allowed in OMNI ...... by clear definition.

Sadly I cannot say all posters (outside OMNI) use clear thread titles, and I spend far MORE time on opening those - of NO interest to me in the end, than I do on reading those of doc's I am interested in.

And overall I gain a LOT more information from reading informative threads started by doc that I do choose to click on, than I ever have from some terrier-like doc detractors. The vast bulk of whose posts I will bet money are nibbling at doc and not contributing one iota of useful airline or point earning info to other FT'ers. Their choice entirely where to post, but as the saying goes, your value to FT is based on your last posts.

And Rudi easily wins my line of the week award, 3 posts above.
