Doc and all...

Did it ever occur to you all that "everyone" is a figure of speech and NOT to be taken literally? Is this your first time running into someone using "everyone" when they don't mean that a poll was taken and that the response was 100%?

Also, I have very little to add since I only travel personally and have no great experiences to share. I could post a trip report on my wonderful flight to Orlando in coach, but I don't see how that would add any value. I have no means to upgrade, so it was in coach. No Economy Plus. What am I left with? A report on a 2 hour flight in coach?

I look around here because this is an interesting subject to me, and I find enjoyment in hearing about all the travel that people do. When I have something of interest, I will be happy to post it.

I am trying to make a point on Doc and his habit of digging up old threads and adding subject matter that is, AT BEST, slightly related to the topic title and at worst not related at all. If there was a way to see that Doc was the last poster before opening the thread, this would not be an issue. Since there is not, I end up opening threads and re-reading them just to discover the content is up to a year old with a Doc post at the end. It's that simple.

As to the emailing Randy or FT issue, drop it! Randy and the FT staff have better things to do than get an email from me. I for one will not waste their time. Please do not respond that my posting is a waste of YOUR time, as frankly you have the option of not reading my threads. Unlike Doc, I do not dig up old threads to add a comment!

Bottom line - please understand that I have no wish to cause trouble, but I do hope that if I annoy Doc long enough he will go back into one of his "snits" and leave the board. Wishful thinking I know. But, what other choice do I have. There is no good way to deal with a person like Doc besides annoyance.
