Thanks for your speedy response!

Indeed, you do digress! Yet since you bring it up, that would not be quite correct. While this may well have been prior to your first posting here on FT, I suppose, you can easily review the old threads, if interested.
FWIW, as I recall, while others did post complete articles somewhat routinely in the past, and while I initially did
not do so when I'd first come to post, I did eventually, like others, post entire articles as well. Many FT'ers preferred it and apparently still do.
Yet, due to criticism for such, by some, albeit highly selective in nature, I began to post only a link, as you say! Yet again, it is off-topic, as you noted. I'll grant you that!

And so therefore what?
If we do not agree, why continue to publicly argue? Must I agree with
you and
your position to end this "nonsense?"

Please forgive me for being blunt but, IMHO, this is simply plain "baloney." I said nothing that could objectively be construed as a "flame" by any reasonable, unbiased person.

Right, if you do not agree, it only follows that you do not listen! Got it now! Please!

I go on doing what I think is right, yes!
My sincere apologies to you, and to any and all others, including but not limited to "gamble0813," who are perhaps not pleased!

You are the expert, albeit self proclaimed, I imagine. So whatever you say! I just want to demonstrate that I am indeed
listening!
IMHO, it's conceiveably more about people who think that they know what's best for everyone else, no?

Yes, thanks, I'm aware, thanks, as I'd said yesterday. Did you neglect to read it?
You apparently have a great talent and interest in the days of the week it appears! Great, enjoy! Perhaps you can do a FT calendar?

P.S. Out of idle curiosity, why did you advocate this gamble person to run for TalkBoard? So that he/she can "take action" against you in a more formal setting? You know they do not have that kind of power. Or is so that you can heap more criticism on him/her claiming it is because they are a Talk member and should be held to some sort of higher standard? Hmmm... scratch that idea. That's not you at all doc, I must be thinking of someone else. Sorry. I know you were only being sincere that this should be brought up with the TalkBoard if it is such an issue with this person. Is that correct?...
</font>
Why? Uh,... I'd surmise that simply reading the post would say why, no? Are you perhaps suggesting that I did not say what I mean? You doubt my sincerity? Is this possibly what you thought of as my "flame?" Shame on you!
Given that they have consistently demonstrated a tremendous interest in the FT Boards, and specifically in the quality of content and the rules/processes, isn't it logical to think that they might be better able to effect a policy change consistent with their interests as a TB member? I never thought of you as being obtuse by any stretch of the imagination, so I do now hope that it is very clear.
Recall:
"Among the most important first duties as president of TalkBoard, cigarman assigned Vice President Mike (chexfan) the roll of research and implementation of new Moderators on FlyerTalk. This immediate action by the Board is expected to bring about a more even application of posting procedures and policing of member TOS violations. I think we're all looking forward to seeing the work of the Board in this area."

Curiously, have I been criticizing any TB member? Or anyone for that matter? Why would you even ask?
And could you not also have simply used e-mailed for your comments as well? Why, after all, are we having this discussion online, as I'm fairly certain that it pleases no one! Or rather, next to nobody!
Again the regarding "higher standards" issue, please recall that it is
you that had purported to hold
me to a higher standard and that I have, in sharp contrast always emphasized equally and equal treatment for all FT'ers. Don't you recall? Need I post all the links?
So, yes, scratch that! Was it you, yourself, that you were perhaps thinking of? Or perhaps someone else?
In closing, I am utterly baffled as to the meaning of your ending comment "Sorry. I know you were only being sincere that this should be brought up with the TalkBoard if it is such an issue with this person. Is that correct?" So I can not comment!
Incidentally, perhaps you too may be intersted in running for the TB?
In any case, I see this discussion as increasingly fruitless. Perhaps we can agree to disagree and either end it or take it offline. Besides I have the weekend off as I said yesterday!
Have a great weekend all!
