Hot news that affects several programs, or that requires a short time to act, might also go into MilesBuzz (example: "Airline A will match Airline B's status through 12/31/01" could go into MilesBuzz, or the A forum, or the B forum. "Government won't tax FF miles" could go into MilesBuzz.)
Of course, someone will complain that these should be in In The News: Miles and Points. Actually, since status comping has nothing to do with miles and points, obviously that should be in In the News: Travel or TravelBuzz!...

Travel news that isn't connected to FF miles and programs (e.g., "Screeners become government employees") goes into In The News and not into MilesBuzz (because it's relevant to travel generally, but not to any FF program).
Again, one can always argue over In the News: Travel, In the News: Airports, AirportsBuzz!, or TravelBuzz!...

News that isn't about FF programs and isn't about travel goes into OMNI (e.g., war news and the whereabouts of the Vice President). Also most questions and polls (e.g., "What kind of luggage do you like") goes into OMNI.
Well, gee, we have a Travel Technology forum; I suppose the traffic in there is far too great to accomodate discussions about luggage as well, so the obvious solution here is to create a Luggage forum. OMNI is clearly NOT appropriate, since its description specifically mandates "a discussion of all things NOT related to miles, points, travel, dining or airports". Certainly luggage is related to at least two of these.
