FWIW, I was pleased to see
ANY response and quite glad that the "issue" IS finally getting some much needed attention, IMHO.
Also, I'd understood, wrongly it would seem, that Randy's reply related to "MILESBUZZ!" My error! Sorry!

Rather it is not, and apparently the entire FT board is now subject to being "relocated."
Again, briefly, IMHO, aside from a list of priorities noted previously:
"My Priorities to Possibly Consider for FT"
1) Moderators - what is/are their role(s)?
2) MilesBuzz - what goes there - and what doesn't?
3) Search - improvements in capabilities and/or ease of use?
4) When is a moderator out of line? What should be done in such a case(s)?
5) "OMNI", specifically what goes there, and also when, if at all, a moderator will be appointed to monitor it!
6) Should we also be electing and/or appointing a few "Alternate" TalkBoard members in order to rapidly replace any departing TB memebers for whatever reason.
Which is the most critical "issue" listed above here?
Moving old threads to
"Misplaced Posts" and then, subsequently, again to a new and more proper home? I don't know!
For the record, I am "sensitive" to the need to restore focus and strongly favor it.

If Moderators and Randy were possibly a bit more clear as to what would/will specifically be moved, why, and to where, or even simply why and where a given post would better be made ["here"] in the future, we would all get a better feel for proper posting in this new era of FT! A general comment that some will be moved tells one precious little. And no comment tells one even less, no?
It is becoming very difficult to locate old threads of interset. IF you can't find 'em, why save 'em and eventually archive 'em at all?
In a nutshell, IMHO, while the FT boards continue to rage in "flames" we now have "Moderators" in place to lock threads, (which I can surely live with, even if I do not agree with their particular selections/ actions) and to arbitrarily move them, seemingly somewhat capriciously and without any advance notice as well! Why is this?
It's frankly much easier to find out where Dick Cheney is these days than any given FT post!
Why even move all the old threads? Can't they perhaps be "grandfathered" as it were and start NOW?
Why not, for the time being, perhaps just move a thread only if it's really blatantly in a truly wrong, almost damaging place and thus when there's a good and suitable example of an equally blatant and truly obvious correct place to place/move it?
Remember, it was the "flames" and such, and NOT misplaced topics or disorganization per se, that prompted us to embark on this current era of moderators being employed, right?
As you know, I'd previously posted my sentiments regarding this issue and it boils down, with reference to moving, essentially to
"less is better"!
Again, FT is the "property" of Randy & Co, and as a guest I respect their actions and efforts and will try to provide whatever support that I personally can. We all have the option not to post after all! Thanks.
