Two questions...
Could it have been an airline employee using their badge while off duty (a big no-no but we all know it happens and that the TSA will in some instances look the other way).
Did you happen to notice if subject 2 placed the little grey bowl used to put one's keys and etc upside down in front of their stuff going thru the x-ray (another clue to the screener that the bags behind the little grey bowl belong to an airline employee).
