I realise my reply is a bit late, but I have only found this thread...and what an interesting thread it is.

Obviously EPS or whoever, is someone with way too much time on their hands.

The Women's travel forum is a great idea, like it or not Women do face some differences when travelling. Maybe not necessarily when sitting on a plane, but in some destinations it's a given. The more experiences we can share the safer some of us may be and isn't that a good thing.

I suggested on here ages ago that there should also be a forum for disabled travellers, as there are many and our expereinces are different.

It seems that no one else thought it was needed.

So sure, let's keep the forum for women, plus add one for Gay and Lesbian travllers and also for disabled travel. If you don't like it EPS, you don't have to bother dropping in. After all I am sure Flyertalk is full of many forums you don't go into. This will just be three more.
