The bin capacity in the CRJs is really pretty pathetic, but SkyCheck (or whatever they call it) does work okay. I wish they offered it on the CR7s, which are better but also have pretty small overhead bins compared to even the Embraer 170/190.
Agreed, I also wish AC staff did a better job explaining it to people who don't fly much and have an unfounded fear of letting their bag out of their sight.
