Thanks for the info! I had a look and it doesn't seem to be very advantageous to book two seperate entries in order to get the credit as if I book singles its about $900 per for the package x2 = $1800 whereas if I book the package normally its $1300 for us. Looking at doing it seperately, flights alone are over $900 for the two of us (checked both YYZ and BUF) and the only promo i've found for Encore was the EARLYBOOKING code but that still doesn't save me much in comparison if I use it with flights being so high. Seems to me like the 5* hotels doen't really do the promos like the others which makes sense as if you're staying in the best hotel on the Strip, I guess you don't expect to pay $29/night...just a thought?!?
