I do have to disagree with you on more than one point.
1. Oz has not earned the benefit of any doubts. In order to be given the "benefit of the doubt", one must first have earned respect. Not only has Oz not earned any respect, I would say that his respect quotient is in negative numbers. Hey, maybe that is some sort of record too!
2. MANY of us know that the Buzz thread was a small minded attempt at collecting credit and adulation. The only enthusiasm exhibited was his enthusiasm for self promotion.
3. Even if Oz came clean on his aliases, it would be too little, too late. He spent months whining and blubbering about the practice, all the while engaging in the same practice himself. He then dropped a flame/bombshell a week before he went on an extended vacation. He came back from the vacation and self proclaims that all of that is behind us. NOT! This cuts right to the core of the negative respect point.
I leave you with three rhetorical questions:
Remember the week between Christmas and New Years? Remember how peaceful and pleasant FT was? Remember who was not around?
