Any BAEC regulars tried EY in F or J?
BA miles are always a consideration, although I seem to collect them far more quickly than I ever spend them...!
If frequent flyer program comes into play here at all...then go with BA. I fly EY F all the time. Its a great product but nothing totally amazing. Then again, maybe I fly too much!! The reality is that with EY's program once you redeem the miles, you;re stuck. I've never once redeemed a single BA point but many of ey's awards are unchangeable, etc.
The great things about EY are the transfers, the lounge with restaurant, spa, etc...which can get very crowded by the way...and of course the cuisine. The seats are like EK F in a way, not huge suites like SQ Suites. They are nice however and the cabin feels like a private jet. However, even with all of that, I have recently decided to give BA more busniess because I became totally POd by EYs idea of a frequent flyer program. I literally just lost 150,000 miles b/c of their inflexibility. I'm a gold flyer with them as well.
I heard how you or another poster said that they know where they stand wiht BA and QF and that is a point I don't think you should take too lightly...
