I have one case of the opposite, where the hotel made up a charge on my CC, which after some fighting was removed. Thats a case where I feel its appropriate to request some points. Others may feel different. But my idea was to fiind out whats fair based on real life experience.

And its not only- what is it worth to you, ask for that, because that might be far off up or down to whats actually been given.
