I can't see PR joining any alliance anytime soon unless there's substantial investment to stabilize its finances and Philippines regains it's CAT I status. And I think any alliance would want INTL services moved to T3.

I think PR gets a bad rap. They are not good at handling IRROPS, but otherwise their product & in-flight services are reasonably good, particularly when considering their prices.

If they were to join any of the 3 alliances I'd use them TPAC any day of the week once they quit sending RP-C8168 to LAX/SFO on occasion (it has the old seats.) More 777s should take care of that.

Payam81 - you forgot Skyteam's other SE Asian loser: Vietnam Airlines. PR is decades ahead of VN in product & service in my experience.
