JFK - Terminal 2
A scanner is wrapped in plastic sitting against the wall. TSA guy said they don't know when it is to go online, but its been there a while. everything was pleasingly regular no molestation just walk through the metal detector and collect your bags. Girl ahead of me (from europe) had no idea about the liquids thing and had stuff (make up, hair stuff, etc) scattered though out her bag (priority line was moving slowly and not providing much priority so we got to chatting) and they didn't say anything. perhaps this was all a fluke but a moment of sanity in an otherwise maddening weekend was welcome.
