As Lack suggests checking in online and printing your own BP is a good idea as the BP should show your new status. With other *A carriers you may come across problems but LH check in agents should be able to see your new status.

When you know your FTL card number you could change the card number in your booking though it should not be necessary. And take a printout of your account showing FTL just in case.
