I disagree with you! I blame the gov't for the aviation mess in Canada.

Air Canada lowers their fares -> people scream PREDATORY PRICING

Air Canada raises their fares - people scream MONOPOLY

Air Canada tries to cut service on low yield routs -> People scream ESSENTIAL AIR SERVICE

Air Canada adds flights on competitive routes -> People screams Aeroflot


It is not fair to Air Canada to have their hands tied by the gov't, to allow other carriers to go after the cream. I think it is time where we need some sort of RE REGULATION back in the market OR the government has to let Air Canada act like a real business.

If I hear WestJet's CEO talk about free market out of the corner of his mouth and out of the other corner talk how the gov't should manage Air Canada one more time I think I will p*ke.
