I am writing to you regarding your Flying Blue Communication email titled "New online services especially for Platinum members".
While I am always interested in new services to make my travels easier, I find it distasteful to send out a message wrongly claiming to be especially directed to Platinum members.
The only new online service you are offering is the ability to buy upgrades with miles on certain fare classes. Before one had to do that either on the phone or at the ticket desk on departure.
I appreciate the new ability to do that online.
But claiming this is a special offer for Platinum members when these services are in fact available for Ivory, Silver, Gold and Platinum members is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.
To summarize: I like the new service and will surely make use of it. But I dislike being lied to. Please do not do this again but advertise your services truthfully.
