It is unfair to keep distracting them from more important tasks they currently face simply to fix a thread that really does not conform to the original intended purpose of FlyerTalk: points and miles.

As a person whose business includes technical involvement with software and hardware (though not to the level of both Tim at WebFlyer and dan at WebFlyer) and who has done almost everything with software (except for actual programming) from quality assurance to ßeta testing, I fully understand the demands and intricacies involved pertaining to upgrading software, correcting corruption problems, technical analysis, and assuring that the software is operating as close to its intended purpose as possible.

I decided to investigate other bulletin board sites using vBulletin. Some of them seem to have threads that are greater than 1,000 pages, but I really have no gauge as to how much traffic vBulletin threads can handle at one time. The Who WIll Be The Next FlyerTalker To Post? An OMNI Game would be the perfect thread to test that on FlyerTalk once the transition period is completed.
