Just got home tonight from HKG to YYZ, and I gotta say, the food was bad. I wished I had my camera so I could have snapped some shots, but just trust me. Having flown this route regularly for the past 5 years now, I really do think the food is going downhill.

Options for main was chicken with rice, or beef stew (we think) and potatoes, STALE bread (as always) frozen butter, some type of peach jello cream chocolate cake, shredded radish salad with cucumber. Just so bad! The salad has always been bad, no matter what it is, but at least I used to bank on a decent dessert. My neighbour opened his entree took one bite and closed it up. Instead he brought his own snacks out and happily ate that instead. Smart guy.

And then there was the noodle/sandwich snack. How many years has that been going on? What about some variety already!

Breakfast was the eggs/congee option, a fruit salad comprised of 1 piece of pineapple, 1 piece of honeydew, and 1 piece cantalope. Is fruit getting expensive or something? STALE bread.

Sigh. I know I'm not the only one who flies this route often, it would just be so cool if we got some other options other than the usual. But if AC didn't change the options, at least please try to make the meals decent.
