The U.S. continues to have the least pleasant screening of any country we've flown out of, as discussed in
this thread and elsewhere.
Agreed! Just in the last few days people were upset here about security in the UK, China, Germany and claimed that all were 'worse' than in America. Well, in every case they were flying TO America on a US carrier and thus encountered US mandated security.
For those of us who fly from those (and other) countries not to the US, or even on non-US carriers, the experience is different. As we discussed elsewhere, TSA has very long arms, and a lot of power in the world.
