I am well aware that each hotel can decide its own policy on upgrading award stays.
- Swedy states he booked a reward room and got club access.
- Such an upgrade is clearly in line with T&Cs on
paid stays and pretty nice for a reward stay
- No IC will deny RA benefits on paid stays. If they do, it takes one call to the service center.
- This particular IC upgraded my reservation in advance (but I later had to cancel my trip and have not stayed at this hotel)
- I really do not know what Swedy would like to say with the upgrade comment, as he obviously received one.
- Besides Swedy's report, there are a lot of older but longer RA reports on this hotel.

Yes, I do ask at check-in (or sometimes "don't care" and am willing to pay for minibar at check-out)
