LDW - damage to car - what's the process?

I rented a car using my corporate discount with my mother as an additional driver for a family vacation. My corporate code does allow for the full LDW to be included. While in a parking garage, someone or something hit our rental (it's pretty obvious) - in a very weird way (so weird that I can't even imagine what hit it - it's almost as if it got hit on the side in a downward angle).

I wasn't there when it happened (and I don't think my mother would lie to me!) - but I'm the primary & she is the secondary (and she is legitimately on the rental agreement as an authorized driver).

Although this was a personal rental, I used my corporate code (which allows for no-charge additional drivers & the full LDW to be included).

How do I go about reporting the damage? At the return? Or do I call it in?

Do I need to file anything with my (or her) insurance since we have full LDW included? I'd rather not have our insurance involved as I don't think it's necessary since we have the full LDW included in our rental fee.

Thanks in advance!
