All of the worst bits of the North rolled into one and dumped on the Solent. Ugly, grim, post-industrial and filled with people who do the "aren't we lovely and friendly act" but have a freezer full of chips on their shoulders and really do loath and despise anyone who isn't one of them or who dare to think differently. It is a real blot on the South Coast. Makes Slough look positively desirable.
