OP: I'm rather sure you meant $0.50 as 0.50c would be around 15 Satang.

Even when the city link jumps to 45B on Jan 1 (and I believe that will be the fare to Phaya Thai, cost getting incrementally smaller at the stations further downline) it's a great fare.
