I have quite a few of both too and won't use them all. I upgraded a stranger the other day from YVR to YYC using a SSWU, after the agent told him he couldn't upgrade with the SWU on his fare (I happened to be close to the desk and overheard the conversation). Both the agent and the gentlement were somewhat incredulous that I would do that.
