Same with the text message exchange in "Up in the Air". In the original, Clooney texts Vera Farmiga "you should rub one off". The AC version says "You should take a shower". This leads to the reply, "way ahead of you", making no sense.

Maybe it's an anti-Clooney conspiracy.
