Flying home this a.m. when I sat my butt down in the seat and choose "The American" with George Clooney for my 2 hr. YWG-YYZ jaunt.

Without giving any plot points away George likes to frequent an Italian brothel in this pic, and during his visits the hooker's naughty bits are blurred out!
WTH?!!

This isn't the EXCITED STATES of AMERICA...so what gives??

A few years ago I was watching a British move called the Swimming Pool and it had full frontal on the IFE, now we are heading down this slope??

With the exception of the US legacy airlines and the Middle Eastern ones, nobody edits personal IFE's (at least in my flying experience) so why all of a sudden this shift towards puritanism?

Watching movies on the plane is actually quite enjoyable for me as I rarely have time to do this, so while this may seem insignifigant to some, I was really irritated.

Anyways Andrew...care to comment?
